Your Challenge. Your Charity. Your Day. You Decide!
A great way for charities and small business to get involved is to become a TCC base around which cyclists base their routes on the day. By becoming a TCC base, charities will be able to benefit from the Tilnar Cycle Challenge, by encouraging their supporters to participate and raise funds for their charity. Similarly, businesses that become TCC bases will be able to ask the participants, who use their base, to raise sponsorship for their chosen charity or cause.
Please complete the registration form so you can be listed on this website as a TCC Base.

Please note we will not be vetting your suitability to act as a base, we will just be listing you as a potential TCC base for cyclists to contact. You have to check and determine your own suitability to be a TCC base, especially taking into account how quiet and suitable the roads are around you.
We recommend acting as a TCC base for a limited number of cyclists, depending on the size of your establishment. Providing you do not advise or tell cyclists what roads or routes to cycle on, you will just be acting as a feed and base station for the day. If your facilities are appropriate you should have family and friends at the base all day supporting the cyclists.
The advantages of acting as a TCC Base are as follows:
- You get to show your support for a great mass participation event which will support and raise monies for charity;
- You will be able to ask participants who base themselves with you to raise additional sponsorship for charities of your choice;
You should have a very busy day at your TCC base being full with friends and family supporting the cyclists. The cyclists themselves will visit you regularly at the completion of each loop to stock up on more food and drinks and to rest and refuel.
If you decide to organise something more formal with a recommended route or an event for over 40 to 50 cyclists please refer to the Organise an Event Section.
