Jane & Chris Turton 01371 238082 chris@scrumptioustearooms.co.uk 1 Market Place, Great Dunmow, Essex, CM6 1AX

Starting in June 2012, Scrumptious Tearooms is designed to capture the nostalgia and essence of a 1930’s & 40’s English corner shop; the stalwart of the pre-war high street. menu has been created around the concept of the traditional afternoon tea with a selection of savoury bites, sandwiches, and soups all created from local seasonal produce. Customers can choose to sit in the main shop area or retire to the quieter more formal parlour and whilst the soft sounds of 1930’s & 40’s musicians such as Vera Lynn, Glen Miller and Ella Fitzgerald drift through the shop, they can allow their taste buds a tantalizing treat with one of our many home-made scones or cakes on offer. Finally, as a tearoom, Scrumptious serves tea the right way every time because life’s too short to drink a bad cup of tea
