Your Challenge. Your Charity. Your Day. You Decide!
Charities, businesses and cycle clubs may also get involved by actively organising their own Tilnar Cycle Challenge event with a large base point and an organised route. Obviously by organising a larger more formal event you will be able to raise more funds for your charity or your chosen charity and you will generate more income on the day from family and friends.
Please complete the registration form so you can be listed on this website as an Organised Event.
Please note we will just be listing your event, we will not be vetting your suitability to act as an Organiser, we will just be listing you as a potential event for cyclists to contact. You have to check and determine whether you are capable of fulfilling all of British Cycling’s requirements for organising an event, especially taking into account how quiet and suitable the roads are around you.
If you decide to organise something more formal with a recommended route or an event for over 40 to 50 cyclists you will need to contact British cycling as you will need to register as an event organiser – www.britishcycling.org.uk and follow their protocols. You may need to contact your Local Council and Police to inform them of any larger scale events.
If you are considering organising a larger event, we recommend looking at British Cycling’s website for more advice – http://www.britishcycling.org.uk
